1) After you create a personal code, test the safe while empty by closing the door and inserting your new code to lock it. Then immediately use the same code to reopen. This ensures the safe is working properly before you entrust it with your belongings.
2) Write your safe’s code down and keep it with you at all times.
3) If lodging with others, make sure everyone knows the code and is able to use it properly.
4) Ensure safe is empty before checking out of hotel.
